Summary: Finally, the perfect typewriter
Comment: I've been looking for a typewriter for a while now and waffling about what to buy. I use a computer all the time, but my eyes get tired and I decided I needed to use a typewriter to keep my journal. But my memory of the old electric typewriters is that they made a loud hum that drove me nuts, and I didn't think I could type on a manual anymore (too used to a computer keyboard). Who knew that Smith Corona had made this amazingly quiet electric typewriter? It's kind of perfect, really. It has the click-clack of a typewriter, types on any piece of paper (so no eye strain),has an erase key and is quiet. I actually put it on my lap and type with it. If it holds up, it will be well worth the money.
