Customer Rating: Summary: everyday user looking for a pen i wont lose! Comment: this pen is smooth ans gets a lot of somments. little hard to get started with, as there is a lack of instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out.
Customer Rating: Summary: Refillable ink barrel does not work... Comment: I bought these pens from a local Art Supply store. As an artist, I am always on the never-ending hunt for the ultimate drawing tools. This one looked promising...alas, the supplied refillable ink barrel simply does not draw ink into the chamber. I tried swapping them between the pens and no luck. With all the variety of fountain pens (mostly designed for writers in mind) it seems difficult for artists to find the ideal fountain pen: very fine and super flexible nibs for super-thin to broad strokes! Sadly this pen doesn't quiet fit the bill either.
Customer Rating: Summary: Agreed...not so hot Comment: This was my third fountain pen and am fairly disappointed with it. I like the extra fine nib for doodling and like writing small with it, but the ink leaks all over the place. I try to be careful, but it isn't long before my fingertips are covered in ink. I recommend the more expensive lamy.
Customer Rating: Summary: Not so hot Comment: I'm one of those people that love to write and draw with fountain pens, but this one...well I guess you get what you pay for... when the pen finally reached me i was looking forward to doing some drawing, because of the extra fine nib, and i finally got to after using it the old fashion way and dipping it in the bottle every few minutes, because none of the cartridges fit; You could push them in cnd they would open and then fall off the stud and get ink everywhere... not impressed with the trouble to use
