Summary: the best ever! from an office-supply junkie
Comment: The bold-point Uni-Ball Jetstream pens are, to quote Tina, "simply the best." As a teacher, I write a lot - in my journal, on kids' papers, everywhere. And these have never let me down. I like black ink best overall, but even the blue stays vibrant until the pen runs out. A caveat, however: the click-style Uni-Balls have wimped out early. As the ink starts to run low, a white line appears in the middle of whatever I write. However, this has NOT happened to me when I use this model number. Just the best, period.

Comment: I'm left handed and this pen is just great. Stole one from a co-worker and fell in love with it. I definitely recommed this pen.
This will be my pen of choice when buying this pen again.

Summary: The best pen for everyday use
Comment: I am a bit of a pen connoisseur and I admit to owning pens worth a couple of hundred dollars, yet I find myself reaching for this pen to the exclusion of the others.
Why? Three reasons:
1. Bold yet fine, controllable stroke. I can write legibly nearly as small as I want and the ink stands out from the paper. I believe even those with failing eyesight would find this pen helpful.
2. Smooth writing. This pen glides across any paper that I've tried it on, even the more inhospitable. I mostly keyboard anymore so I feel it if I write for a long time but not with this pen. It is a pleasure to use.
3. It never skips. Most rollerballs have a nice bold line but they skip and smear. Ballpoint ink can skip and it doesn't provide the clean line of a rollerball. This "hybrid" combines the strengths of both.
Keep your expensive pens for show and flourish. Use this pen daily for practical, professional results. I hope eventually that uni-ball introduces a dressier version using this ink. If they do, I'll never stray.

Summary: The Perfect Pen
Comment: It sounds like a stupid thing to read customer reviews on... after all, it's not like you're buying an HDTV or something fairly expensive. Nonetheless... these things warrant the stellar praise they've received here.
The pens feel solid in your hand, they write smooth with a nice size stroke and without needing to press too hard. They just feel right.

Comment: I had our secretary buy this specific pen after using another model and am pretty disappointed. Yes, the ink dries fast, and I'm left-handed, so that's nice. However, this particular pen skips on normal paper--pads, post-its, everything. It skips enough that it's pretty much unusable.
The other style (model SAN33921), with a cap instead of a retractable tip, is great, dries fast, and doesn't skip at all. I've only got one of those, and I've lost the cap, but I still keep it resting at the top of my keyboard because it's just a nice pen.
